Hallelujah 24×20 Oil on Canvas
I tried a new color space approach using Cadmium Yellow Light and Cadmium Red Vermillion. A surge of color strikes first—no soft invitation, only an immediate, visceral pull. Chromatic Reckoning isn’t gentle about my attention with this piece: it rearranges how you read the paintings content, asking the eye to recalibrate and the mind to follow. Content imagery was taken on Hwy 70 heading east towards 395 Hallelujah junction, on my way back from a day of fly fishing in California.
